BHK was originally established in 2021, but finally continued in 2026. It is a movement and a symbol for people, to wear and move by, who have always felt unseen, unheard, or unappreciated in the past or even now. The community is built up by people who have been done wrong and desire the connection with others who have had similar experiences. It’s even for the people who just solely support the message and the mission of BHK. It gives recognition and acknowledgement to those who search for it in a non-victimizing way. BHK lets you know that you don’t have to stay in a place of depression and/or hopelessness. Whether you believe in a higher power or not, know that you have value in this life. You are important, and you do matter. If not to those around you, you most certainly do to BHK. Express your hurt, embrace your flaws, and recognize that the negatives in life can definitely transform you into something/someone more powerful. Life is too short to be taken so seriously. Ease up and have fun with it. 

Berto is the creator and founder of BHK. That is why you can see a golden crown on top of the B in the main BHK logo to show ownership of the idea and leadership of the movement. The name, Berto, comes from his real name Roberto and the second name, Suave, was added to emphasize his smoothness as well as his playfulness. Suave also came from Berto always being called ‘Rico Suave’ at work and by family members due to his hair and style of dressing.

Berto is from, South Bend, a city in Indiana and mainly grew up on the west side of the city. Since the age of 4, music and entertainment has always been a passion of his and his journey of recording music started at the age of 16. Growing up, his life wasn’t always good nor was it always bad, but a lot of the things that people struggle with today is one of the main things that Berto struggled with most of his early life, which was rejection and the desire to be recognized by his peers. A big inspiration of his was Michael Jackson because he seen how much the world recognized and loved him for being his own person and being authentic. Now, Berto has a purpose and mission in the world to pursue whether it be through music or content creation. It isn’t for the fame, money, recognition, or even to be accepted by society. He embraces hard times and tough situations with humor, contradicting bragging, and sometimes playful banter. The mission is to recognize, support, and connect with those who have been wanting a community to relate to and be a part of.
